Marketplace scale

Amazon turned the operation into scale.

Listings, FBA, PPC, inventory and account health became daily operating systems.

Scale / context
Major operating periods reached approximately ₹30–40 lakh per month in Amazon India sales.

Over roughly five years around Amazon India, I worked across Seller Central, FBA, catalog operations, inventory, pricing, advertising, account health, compliance and customer operations.

Revenue created a different kind of pressure

At higher marketplace volume, small errors become expensive. A broken listing can stop revenue. Poor inventory planning can lose ranking. Advertising can amplify weak unit economics. Compliance problems can interrupt an entire account.

That environment trained me to look beyond individual tasks and monitor the health of the whole marketplace operation.

Advertising and catalog became connected

Amazon also reinforced a lesson that would later shape my Google Shopping and SEO work: advertising performance depends on the product data underneath it. Titles, images, pricing, availability, reviews, category placement and conversion all influence what paid traffic can achieve.

The best advertising fix is sometimes not inside the ad account. Sometimes the product, feed, price, stock or page has to be fixed first.
